You have to post a reminder that sometimes the polls before voting are full of shit. The actual numbers of blue voters might be higher than what they make it seem. It’s a move to discourage them from trying

Pollsters cannot tell the future. They can guess based on what people are telling them, but that is about it.

Just remember, in 2016 all the polls had Hillary winning.
