Is your friend/partner not answering your text? Please try to remember that them hating you isn’t the only and definitely isn’t the most realistic reason why that might be.
– Maybe they got interrupted by something or someone.
– Maybe they fell asleep.
– Maybe they’re busy working or studying or otherwise doing something important that requires their full attention.
– Maybe they’re in a situation where being on your phone is considered rude.
– Maybe they’ve put their phone on silent and forgotten about it because they’re busy with something else.
– Maybe their phone died.
– Maybe they got distracted by something and forgot that they they were supposed to answer you/that they hadn’t already answered you.
– Maybe the connection is shitty/maybe there’s issues with their internet.
– Maybe they’re having a bad day and don’t have the energy for chatting right now.
– Maybe they’re focusing so intensely on a hobby/interest, a conversation, a movie/tv show, etc, that they don’t even think of checking their phone
– Maybe they just aren’t on their phone right now. There’s a million valid reasons why that might be.
Please don’t jump to the conclusion that they are willfully ignoring you because they hate you – all of the above suggestions are far more likely.
