when cis people say stuff like “i can’t see characters as trans or interact with trans headcanons because i can’t connect with it”, it’s a huge red flag… that isn’t a good excuse & it only shows how much you see trans people as “other”
like why does it bother you when people say characters are trans? what about that is unappealing or unbelievable to you? trans people are allowed to be beautiful and heroic too, you bastards, that shouldn’t surprise or disgust you

honestly a good partner isn’t necessarily someone who loves the exact same things you love but rather someone who is willing to listen to you ramble on and on about a particular subject that you’re passionate about even if they have little to no interest in it
