also tumblr drama is so much better because so rarely is it done for clicks like twitter and instagram are…. like tumblr drama is ALWAYS next level shit. this site does not fail to entertain. we got lesbians who cut off each others toes, people who fake their race for 2 YEARS only to get exposed to be white and have said multiple slurs under the guise they could reclaim them, the bone steal girl (bless her soul), 22 year olds who bully teenagers because they share the same kin…….. this site is so messy
If you only support “loose ” hijabis, ones who show their hair, wear turbans, tight jeans, flawless makeup, and basically dress “trendy” but not nikabis and women who wear jibabs, you’re not supporting Muslim women, you’re supporting the ones in your comfort zone and honestly, if you’re going to only support hijabis like myself but not one who covers her face, don’t support us at all.

But really tho, if you stand for muslim women you gotta stand for every single one of them. The ones that wear niqab, the refugees, the ones that don’t speak English, the mums, the ones who fit the quiet/timid stereotype, etc. Being an ally doesnt mean much if it’s just for the IG models, the women leading marches, or the ones approved by mainstream media.
Be self-critical of your stance as an ally, that goes for everyone tbh.
